Let the lort be with u— essential oils for Scorpio season

Essential oils can help heighten your awareness and intuition, raise your vibe, and calm you down. They are great for diffusing when meditating or wearing. You can def use essential oils to aide in your divination practice. Working with essential oils is my personal potion making practice.

Here’s a diffuser blend to help you get in touch with your intuition and deepen your connection to the present moment during Scorpio season.

  • 3 drops frankincense to help connect intuitively

  • 2 drops sandalwood for focus

  • 2 drops cinnamon to increase psychic awareness

  • 2 drops rosemary for stimulation and focus

Diffusing essential oils during meditation and at night has been a huge game changer for my mood throughout the day. I also create little roller blends to carry with me, spray concoctions, and I use them in my moon mists. If you don't have any essential oils already, you can use my link to sign up for DoTerra. Raise Your Vibe: Libra Season Essential Oils

Raising your vibration and lifting your frequency is not only the best way to uplift yourself, it’s also the fastest way to manifest what you truly desire. Some of the herbs/flowers/etc used in essential oils have been known to raise your vibration and have been used for centuries to uplift.

I highly recommend using this oil blend to create a roller bottle infused with a ~spell~ to focus on and manifest your intentions. I like to apply to my wrists, under my nose, on my neck, and sometimes in my palms and the soles of my feet throughout the day.

Roller bottle blend

  • 3 drops of Bergamot

  • 1 drop of Clove

  • 4 drops of Rose Absolute

  • fill bottle with fractioned coconut oil (or some other carrier oil)

Why these oils?

Bergamot calms and uplifts, soothing your spirit and brightening your mood by banishing anxieties and negativity. Smells lightly citrusy (not overbearing at all), a tiny bit spicy, and maybe has even a hint of a floral feel.

Clove is warming and spicy and is super stimulating. It feels nice and lightly tingly when applied directly to the skin and smells super autumnal with a light woodsy touch. Clove oil is used in lots of dental treatments and is known to be a powerful antioxidant but I like it best for the chill vibes.

Rose is super uplifting and helps balance the emotions. The scent of rose is one of the highest vibrations and is one of the most cherished essential oils in the world! It smells beautiful (surely you know what a rose smells like) and is known for it’s ability to inspire romance.

Virgo Season Essential Oil Recommendations

If you weren't already aware, I'm freaking obsessed with essential oils. This month's recommendations come from the most sincere depths of my soul in which I just want to be left alone to read my book and drink so goddamn wine.

I'm obsessed with diffusing this blend, but I also like to create roller bottles infused with a ~spell~ and apply them to my wrists, neck, and sometimes my palms and the soles of my feet throughout the day. I have been diffusing this blend when I get up in the morning while I meditate, and it's making all the difference <3

Diffuser blend

  • 4 drops of Frankincense
  • 2 drops of Vetiver
  • 2 drops of Copaiba
  • 3 drops of Ylang Ylang

Why, though?

Frankincense is the peaceful "king of oils." It's a zillion years old, and its resin has been known to have been used in ritual and religious ceremonies. It helps promote a feeling of relaxation, contentedness, overall chill vibes. It has been scientifically proven to help with anxiety and stress... It also smells amazing.

Vetiver is a grass, but instead of growing like other basic grasses, vetiver roots down into the earth. It smells earthy and sweet, and is amazing for grounding and helping you "root." It can be awesome for helping you sleep, especially if you rub it on the soles of your feet before bed.

Copaiba comes from a tree in South America. It promotes grounding and helps soothe anxiety. It does not have cannabinoids but its main component is caryophyllene, which is said to be neuroprotective-- some people say that it acts kind of like CBD oil. It smells woodsy and a little spicy, like pepper maybe.

Ylang Ylang comes from the prettiest flowers, and is used to promote a calming and positive outlook by helping to alleviate stress and tension. It smells floral, but also a little spicy and rich.

Essential Oils to Work With During Leo Season

This super uplifting, confidence building blend will help you chill to the max.

  • 2 drops cypress
  • 4 drops bergamot
  • 1 drop wild orange
  • 1 drops jasmine

Why, though? Cypress is awesome for grounding. Bergamot helps uplift and brighten the mood. Sweet orange helps combat fear of ridicule. Jasmine, which has been traditionally used in lots of spells, is super powerful and has been known for its capability to attract love. When diffused, it instills a feeling of worthiness.

Cypress has a fresh, woodsy scent that is energizing and refreshing. While grounding, it also stimulates, so it's really good for transitional times. You can rub on the soles of your feet to make you feel more stable, apply (diluted with a carrier oil) to your chest to help with deep breaths, and diffuse to create a clean-slate vibe.

Bergamot is citrusy and light. It is known for its calming and uplifting properties, and it's often used to help banish anxiety. It's both purifying and soothing. It can be diffused to help dissipate stress (I love it when I'm meditating!).

Wild orange is stimulating and purifying, and can be used to support health immune function, but also as a cleaning aide! It's fresh, sweet, and uplifting.

Jasmine is the luxurious "King of flowers," and has a potent, lovely scent that helps promote positivity. When applied to pressure points, jasmine helps the wearer feel more euphoric and optimistic.
