New Moon in Taurus: Self Lover

keep a part of yourself.jpg

You’re introduced to a level of healing that is verging on oblivion with the full moon fixed like a spinning pool of light in Taurus tonight. It’s v calm under the wave, but there may be overwhelming sounds around you as you locate your stillness in the swirling drama above. The urge with Taurus is toward slumber and lethargy but in a push/pull dynamic with Scorpio, it’s like being awakened by a gunshot in the middle of the night. It requires investigation.

The impressions you’re getting from events that will transpire over the next two weeks seem urgent—it doesn’t feel right to sleep until you’re sure it’s safe. Body issues and psychic family trauma will likely rear its ugly head if it’s been stuffed under for any number of practical reasons, with Pluto accelerating the process of healing past the comfort threshold. The pressure could shatter glass. It’s the invisible voltage of wanting things to change and secretly hoping they stay the same. Neither of these signs particularly enjoys change, but somehow they manage to do change better than any of us. Clean slates, lines in the sand, tearing what no man can tear asunder. You’re in a cycle of transformation. With the rebirth of the new moon in Scorpio earlier this season, you’ve started to assimilate a new identity. What are your likes and dislikes in this new body? What does it want? Who is it loyal to?

Whatever comes up under this influence is intended to push you over the edge. I keep getting the image of a bathtub overflowing with the trine to Pluto. Events always accelerate with trines to outer planets and the excess of impurity will eventually spill off if you let it flow long enough. Diffusion is a chemical process, but it’s also the quickest way to healing. Especially in the stirring up of old stuff that Mercury retrograde is prone to do, you can choose what parts of your past you give another chance and what parts are washed away. Let things leave you and spill over outside your reality. Keep a part of yourself to yourself under the wave.

xoxo,

Hayley
