New Moon in Cancer: Caught Up to Myself

Astrotoolkit™ is small this time so I pulled out some minor aspects to round it out:

  • Sextile Uranus: coalescence of a random event in perfect divine timing

  • Semisextile Venus/Mars: irritation caused by cleansing—like exfoliation; meetings with familiar but upsetting people

After the inevitable reset of the eclipse season and all the bizarre and rapid changes that have resulted from the universe intervening in your life, you’re searching for peace and renewal. Sorry, not quite yet… there’s just a little more to do before you can officially take an emotional load off and really sink into your new normal. Issue #1: restoration, Issue #2: breathing, Issue #3: sleeping. Although the eclipses leveled everyone this summer, the surprises that came up ended things but almost instantly initiated new stuff faster than you had time to register it. Events have been hard to follow. You’ve barely processed any of it. It’s called shock, baby. With this soft touch new moon in Cancer, you’re in need of tenderness, introspection, and room to process. It time to nurture your heart with an eye on filling in the cracks this razor-sharp period revealed in you. You need rest. You need to let down your guard and become vulnerable enough to trust the process. And with the Aquarian tone, you need to not get destroyed by the feelings—you are detached and yet…so engaged.

With Uranus involved in a positive aspect to this New Moon, little blessings arrive lightning quick like the charmed woodland creatures in a Disney movie. Cancer is the Cinderella of the zodiac, and the magical hands holding you up right now may transform you with very little effort on your part. You are being dressed in silken robes by the universe and fated interventions that arrive serendipitously right now are occurring at exactly the right time. The universe may delay a “train” in your life to prevent a cosmic accident. Pay attention to signs. There are weird animals, colors, numbers, and messages making an appearance and moving the track of that “train” for you.

You may have made quantum leaps during this chaotic period, or maybe those are still to come—but the important part is that you have made a cosmic shift into a different reality, even if you’re not seeing the evidence of those changes quite yet. Cancer Moon is doing its best to softly open the drapes to the blinding sun outside and not wake you up all at once. You may still think everything is normal. It’s important to realize that you just may not have interacted with the key people that would provide a tell that something has changed.

The life events that were triggered at the end of May with the Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius probably already look kaleidoscopically different after the Solar Eclipse in Gemini. During that time, you connected with a trap door inside yourself. This is the first lunation that you catch a fucking break. It’s time to renew and heal and fill the tank you depleted with overriding your energy reserves. Quantum leaps require a landing period. Over the next 5-6 months, the fractions of you that splintered in a million parts will reassemble themselves in a wholesome way. You will look different to yourself over this period, so it’s important to maintain a really stable state of self-worth and shift yourself internally with positive intention. You’re learning to trust in yourself and others again with this New Moon, after a period of being jaded by change.
